THE FIX - IT'S THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION ON THE MARKET FOR THE
MOST COMMON FORD EXPLORER TRANSMISSION PROBLEM (WORN BORES)!
[U.S. Patent No. 9,121,418] Up until our kit was available, the only available fix for a worn servo bore on the Ford 5R55W, 5R55N, and the 5R55S transmissions was to have the bores bored out and sleeved. This obviously involves dropping the transmission. Not only is that an expensive proposition for high mileage vehicles, it is an undertaking that could only be done by experienced shops or mechanics. This is a common issue with Ford Explorers, Mountaineers, Aviators, Lincoln LS, and Mustangs where the OD light is blinking (that turns into a check engine light) and you have symptoms like shift flares, high revs between shifts, and slipping in overdrive and other gears.
This fix involves a patented fix where o-ring grooves are machined into the OEM parts. The parts included in the kit are the intermediate and overdrive servos/pistons with o-ring grooves machined into them, Viton o-rings installed, and a patented assembly sleeve over those. If you have worn bores, this kit will fix your problem! Read more by clicking the link below! |

"Hi Andy, Just a short note to let you know Freistadt Auto (in Freistadt, obviously) got the work done on my '04 Explorer at the end of last week, and yes you were right, the transplant was successful. They "couldn't believe" how easy the job was; they billed me for 2½ hours total, which included test driving, fluid flush and refill, error codes checks, and similar indirect work. Certainly, the transmission isn't "Like New" (approaching 300K miles), but a scale of 1 to 10, I'll say it's currently a 7 or 8. Thank you! Bruce Warnimont"

"Good afternoon AJ1E guys! Just want to thank you for an awesome product that worked perfect! A little feedback on my 2002 Explorer is it had 202K miles when this servo kit was installed and had been driven over 80K miles with all the horrible symptoms of hard shifting, high revs and OD flashing light. This new servo kit literally fixed all those issues without needing a rebuild and saved me at least $2000. I can't thank you enough and your product is everything you say it is. This is a no brainer for anyone considering trying to fix it themselves or having a transmission shop install it. BUY THIS KIT! Sincerely, Richard Avila"

"Andrew, I can't thank you enough for all of the personal attention and being patient enough to answer all of my questions. Yesterday, I got my wife's 07 Ford Sport Trac up on a friends lift, and removed the original servo pistons. The larger (rear) piston had the shaft completely broken off of the diaphragm base. Your replacement servo units installed easier than you said, and solved the transmission code issue immediately. My recommendation to anyone who ever attempts this repair is DO NOT get cheap and try to use those snap ring pliers you have in the drawer... Order the snap ring pliers that you folks offer, as well as new snap rings. Had I done that, I could have completed the whole job in less than 2 hours total. Again many many thanks, and GREAT JOB ! GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT SUPPORT, FAST SHIPPING, totally satisfied customer here... I shouldn't have, but I just had to take the broken servo piston back to the repair shop that told my wife that "She needed a new torque converter and that was going to be around 2,000.00 total with parts and labor"... I gave them your card !!"

"My name is Sarah Mc Neal and I would like to thank you for a great product and superfast delivery. I ordered both your overdrive and intermediate servos for my 2004 ford explorer on Thursday August 22, 2019 and my order was delivered to my front door on Monday August 26, 2019. My husband installed these servos this past weekend on Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st and my transmission is shifting "smooth as butter" again. I had shifting problems, (hard shifting and flaring) the overdrive off light was blinking, the check engine light was on, etc. Now all these symptoms are gone and all the warning lights are a thing of the past. Would you believe my mechanic of many years quotes me at $1888.00 for a rebuilt tranny and another $1500.00 for labor to install it. Your 2 servos plus shipping for $211.00 saved this explorer from the wrecking yard. thank you so much for a wonderful product."

"Andrew, Installed the servo in my 2007 Explorer this past weekend. Man what a life saver you came up with. These servos saved me 2200 bucks because I didn't have to do a rebuild on the tranny. It was a little challenging to get the servos loose but well worth the time invested. I was going to post this on your web page but could not find a link to post it to. Please post this to your page so others will see what a cost saving produce you have to offer.
Thanks Again. Steve"
